Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Belly-Well app and services. Please read them carefully.

1 Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Belly-Well mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Belly-Well ("we," "us," or "our"). You must be at least 13 years of age (16 in the EEA) to use Belly-Well.
2 Description of service
Belly-Well is a personal wellness tracking application designed to help you log meals, track digestive symptoms, monitor mood and energy, and receive AI-generated meal ideas. The App is intended as a general wellness tool to support your personal health journey.
Features include: meal and symptom journaling, gut health score tracking, personalized meal suggestions, daily reflection prompts, and progress insights.
3 Subscription and billing
Belly-Well offers a free trial and optional paid subscription:
- Free trial — new users receive a 7-day free trial with access to all premium features. No charge is made during the trial period.
- Auto-renewing subscription — at the end of the free trial, a paid subscription automatically begins unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase.
- Billing cycle — subscriptions renew automatically for the same duration and price unless cancelled. You will be notified of any price changes before your next renewal date.
- Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Belly-Well → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
- Refunds — all purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's standard refund policy and must be submitted through Apple's support channels at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
4 Not a medical device — important disclaimer
The App, its content, and any information or suggestions provided — including AI-generated meal ideas, gut health scores, and symptom insights — are for general informational and wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Belly-Well is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, dietary needs, or health-related decisions. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you have read or tracked in this App.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
5 User content and ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Belly-Well — your meal logs, journal entries, notes, photos, and reflections ("User Content").
By using the App, you grant Belly-Well a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the App's features to you. We do not use your personal health data for advertising or share it with third parties for commercial purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create does not violate applicable laws or the rights of others.
6 Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the App.
- Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' data.
- Misrepresent the App's features or capabilities to others.
7 Account termination
You may delete your account at any time using our Data Deletion Request page or by emailing support@belly-well.app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or create security risks. In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be provided for any remaining subscription period.
8 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from technical failures.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on wellness information or AI-generated suggestions.
9 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction placeholder — e.g., the State of California, United States], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [jurisdiction placeholder], unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
If you are located in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation.
10 Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification and/or email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you disagree with updated Terms, you may stop using the App and request deletion of your account.
