Your Rights
Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. We'll take care of it within 30 days.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please make sure this is what you want before submitting.
What will be deleted
Submitting this request will permanently delete:
- All meal logs and attached photos
- All symptom logs and notes
- All mood and energy check-in history
- All daily reflections and journal entries
- All saved meal ideas and food favorites
- Your food preferences and dietary settings
- Your account credentials and profile (email address, Apple Sign In association)
What cannot be recovered
After deletion is completed:
- Your health tracking history is gone permanently — there is no backup we can restore.
- Progress insights and gut health score history will be lost.
- If you used Apple Sign In, that association is also removed. You would need to create a new account to use Belly-Well again.
- Encrypted database backups may retain data for up to 90 days before full purge — but these are inaccessible and are used only for disaster recovery.
How it works
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days.
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your confirmed request.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide when deletion is complete.
- Cancelling your subscription separately via Apple is also recommended to stop future billing — deletion of your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions.

Send an email to support@belly-well.app with the subject line "Delete My Account" and include the email address associated with your Belly-Well account.
Your legal rights
This page exists to honor your right to erasure under the GDPR (EU/EEA residents), the CCPA (California residents), and applicable data protection laws in other jurisdictions. You do not need to give a reason to request deletion.
